A top choice for weary-headed textile techies, batik hotels offer wax-dyed relief for tired eyes. Boutique hotels like The Kings Hotel in Stokenchurch, on the other hand, present a more conventional respite for those in need of some time out. A former 16th century coaching inn, the hotel’s interior has undergone a facelift to bring it up to date with the demands of modern leisure. Elegantly combining neutral stony tones with clean lines and sleek furnishings, guests are invited to ramble through the Romanesque front door, to stumble upon the mellow wonders within.
Groupon visitants can trip and fall under the charm of The Kings Hotel’s calming and homely atmosphere for a night and catch some sweet shuteye in one of the smartly appointed chambers for £89 instead of up to £225.90. Featuring en suite Italian marble bathrooms complete with showers so powerful they could double up as car washes, and exclusive toiletries, accommodation at the Kings Hotel offers the comforts of home and then some. During the visit, Groupon holders can enjoy their morning meal, a three course dinner packed with fresh ingredients, and a traditional cream tea each after a day spent traipsing the local scopes of Buckinghamshire.

Very nicely decorated hotel and rooms, clearly a lot of money has been spent on the whole building and its very nicely styled. Staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant area were also very pleasant and helpful.
