The green-eyed monster gets a lot of bad press for his fervent jealous streak and inability to empathise with brown-eyed monsters. Don’t rub it in with today’s Groupon: £49 for a 'Chelsea Girl' mini facial, Swedish massage and 'Chelsea Girl' manicure from The Chelsea Day Spa.
Situated in one of the capital’s most prestigious locales, the famous Kings Road, The Chelsea Day Spa offers West End girls a personally tailored instance of indulgence. Spread across two floors of an elegant townhouse, the boutique spa boasts three treatment rooms, a nail bar and a pedicure room in which trained therapists offer a range of waxing, massage, nail, spray tanning and facial treatments.
Groupon girlies' pamper package kicks off with a therapist analysing skin type and condition before commencing with a fabulous individually tailored facial (30 minutes, £45). Next up is a knot-scaring Swedish massage (30 minutes, £45) to untighten traps and balm bothersome backs. The treatment will then finish up with a Chelsea Girl manicure (30 minutes, £30) which incorporates soaking, cuticle work, a file and shape, moisturising and polishing.
Both Yelpers and Qypers have given optimistic feedback on the spa, commenting on the day as a whole being a good experience. The treatments in particular have received much appraisal for the time and attention clients have received.
On my way to the spa I was your typical bad tempered and frustrated Londoner attempting to battle my way through the crowds but as I made my way home following the treatment I simply smiled and floated through the hoards[sic] feeling totally relaxed and content.
