There’s no use crying over spilt milk, unless it’s taking all the kick out of your curry. Get heat levels right with today’s Groupon: £29 for a two-hour Indian, Thai, or Vietnamese cookery class at Angela Malik Cook School.
With a kitchen bubbling over with culinary zeal and creative cookery skills, Angela Malik aims to instil easy-to-replicate skills for lasting dinner party prowess. Having appeared on Kirstie’s Homemade Christmas, and as a panellist on BBC Radio 4’s The Kitchen Cabinet, Angela is an oracle of spicy knowledge, specialising in Asian flavours and heated dishes. Her classes encourage experimentation and individual flair, as students learn to utilise all five senses in the Acton Central school.

Selecting to perfect the Indian, Thai, or Vietnamese dining experience, groups of up to 18 budding chefs can don aprons and white hats and get chopping, simmering, and dumpling dimpling. Teams will spend 90 minutes mingling British flavours with Asian flair, as professional tutors offer hands on help and individual guidance. Designed to sneak skills in to everyday kitchen pottering, the classes aim to leave students confidently wielding specialist utensils, as they spend the final 30 minutes sampling their creations and sending compliments to the chef.

Thanks Angela for a very lovely and educational evening in Acton - nice to learn some method behind the madness of dishes. Highly recommended

I've been on four of the courses with Angela Malik and have got to say that they have never failed to inspire me. My friends are also very glad that I've been on the courses as well as they get to sample to experiments aferwards. I love the fact that you are not going there to learn a recipe but instead you learn a style of cooking which Angela insists that you can use in everday cooking.... and she's right! I've used the 5 taste sensation theory on simple everday dishes and they work. I can't recommend it enough.
