Bel Canto, accompanied by fine operatic performances.
At Lancaster Gate's Bel Canto, French cuisine hits all the right notes, with meals being served by a host of uniquely talented waiting staff, who perform between balancing plates. Packing an a la carte menu of classically trained vocal chords, this restaurant allows diners to feast upon excerpts from some of the world's most famous arias sung by voices so impressive they are thought to tenderise steaks. The musical entertainment is complemented with fine wines and a vintage pianist who specialises in operatic numbers.
Pairs of prima donnas can be spoilt with a two course meal at Bel Canto, beginning with a Bellini cocktail of Prosecco and peach puree, which is served upon arrival. Showcasing fine dining with a thorough choice of delectable Gallic dishes, the menu features starters such as the Opera salad, and mains including duck breast with crushed potatoes and sweet and sour red summer fruits sauce. Whatever dishes are chosen, all are served with a healthy accompaniment of the musical kind, without guests having to leave their table.

Reviews
Bel Canto’s concept of an “interactive” dining experience has impressed reviewers, with both the The Evening Standard and The Daily Express dishing out positive reviews.
Offering a very different kind of night out at the opera, where you can eat and drink during the performance without raising eyebrows, there is a real sense of fun at Bel Canto. The experience is one of a kind in London and makes the perfect setting for a special occasion, a romantic dinner for two, a fabulous birthday party, or even a proposal. The service is wonderfully refreshing and welcoming.
