Brocket Hall is one of England’s finest stately homes and prides itself on excellence having hosted kings, queens, presidents and prime ministers for over 300 years. Its fine architecture, oil paintings and antique furnishings make it the ultimate destination for both corporate and private events, all of which can be combined with golf on two of the South of England's finest Championship golf courses and the Palmerston Golf Academy. Situated in 543 acres of mature parkland, affording stunning views over the Broadwater Lake, Brocket Hall is only 45 minutes from central London and close to all international airports. The historic Melbourne Lodge - where Groupon guests will rest their weary heads - has been transformed from into a luxurious accommodation for both members and estate guests. Each of the 16 bedrooms is appointed to the highest standard, in traditional country house style.

What people are saying...

100% of travellers on Tripadvisor recommend staying at Melbourne Logde - Brocket Hall.

The rooms at the lodge are fairly large with lovely views - the grounds are fantastic. The real highlight to the weekend was dinner at the Auberge Du Lac - the food was excellent. The setting for the restaurant works all year round - in the colder, darker months it feels like a friendly gentlemen's club but in the summer the lake side setting would give it a wonderful ambiance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Dinner at Auberge du Lac was truly superb. One of the really good things about this restaurant (other than its beautiful setting) is that the service is attentive but not overly so and the waiting staff and sommelier were exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and not at all stuffy. The service at the golf Club for Melbournbe Lodge was also exceptional and breakfast the following morning in the Club House was also wonderful – they have a great breakfast menu which was beautifully cooked and presented. Overall I really cannot overall fault our stay or meal.
