Having scooped up a plate load of acclaim and awards, Loungelover is a cocktail and Japanese tapas bar with a reputation to match its renowned older brother, Les Trois Garcons. An opulent and inviting interior dabbles in themes of baroque and gold, with diamante animal trophies, incandescent chandeliers, and elaborate seating creating a stylish space of mismatched chic. A drinks menu spills over with wines, spirits and cocktails to suit all inclinations, and a variety of fresh and exotic bites of Asian cuisine arrive in delicate parcels of explosive flavour. 
Making themselves cosy in the lavish yet laid back restaurant, duos can raise a toast with a Cold Hearted Lover cocktail each. The summer menu (£80 for two) will begin with chilli edamame beans to nibble whilst deciding between seared scallops, beef carpaccio, or sushi selection, marinated baby chicken or grilled beef fillet, and gingerbread fig panna cotta or chocolate liquorice sponge.

Loungelover was rated an appetising 4/5 by both TripAdvisor and Qype users, while Yelpers awarded an encouraging 3.5/5. Though the summer 2012 menu is yet to be widely commented upon, and opinions have varied on the service at times, reviewers praised the cocktails and the striking décor.
A wonderful world of curious objets d'art, colourful decor and curious cocktails. I've been numerous times and always book a spot in 'the cage'. The cocktails are amazing, as are the excellent oriental bar snacks.
