Home cooking is a great skill to have, but without proper instruction you could just end up with an over-baked sofa. Don’t overdo it with today's Groupon from On Cookery School. Choose from the following options:
• £39 for 2.5-hour beginners’ class (51% off)• £59 for a 3.5-hour advanced class (51% off)

With an appearance on Channel 4’s Homemade Britain and a patisserie full of French treats under her belt, baking professor Loretta Liu knows her macarons inside and out. The head chef’s On Cookery School is an edifyingly edible venue with arms that reach out to the On counter in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge and flavourable mentions in the national press. Taking French culinary style and adding in Asian flavour, On’s unique macarons are diversely flavoured with the likes of jasmine tea and Japanese plum liqueur.
Proffering the choice of a beginner’s class, an advanced class or both classes, On Cookery School’s courses take learners from novice to connoisseur. The basic 2.5-hour class introduces learners to the tricky tips of macaronage, piping, and stacking, leaving them with a box of sweet treats to take home. Those opting for the advanced class will spend 3.5 hours getting to grips with more complicated techniques using an Italian meringue recipe, and those taking both classes will leave with £50 worth of macarons.
