About The Event
Chukka-ing the ball about in aid of wounded servicemen and women, Polo For Heroes is a charity fundraising event aimed at providing a fast-paced sporting spectacle alongside fantastic food, all in the name of a truly good cause. With four teams promising thrills, spills, and goals galore, a smattering of foodie delights overseen by master chefs, and a raffle and auction to round off the day, novice fans and polo pros can soak up the feel-good factor as they enjoy themselves at St Albans Polo Club.
Arriving at the lush fields of Chiswell Green Lane, customers will be welcomed to the event with a complimentary cocktail, before watching two matches of mallet-wielding madness, and nipping off for a bite to eat at the pop up barbecue restaurant. Entry includes a programme and a bottle of sparkling wine, distributed in specially-made Polo for Heroes hessian bags, with all proceeds going to the Help for Heroes charity.
