About The Show

The comedy brand runs intimate gigs throughout the big smoke seven evenings a week, showcasing the linguistic skills of up-and-coming artistes and already well-known faces. Acts on the way include the eccentric musings and political tirades of Sol Bernstein, observational nuggets of wisdom from TV regular Holly Walsh, and the brilliantly overconfident quips of middle-class charmer Chris Martin.
Tucked inside Storm nightclub on Leicester Square, low ceilings and a small crowd keep things personal, while a suitably well-stocked bar serves to keep the chuckles flowing. Post-show, guests can get boogying with inclusive entry to Storm Nightclub, where live DJs keep R&B, House, and Old Skool tunes pumping until two, three, or five in the morning. Anyone fancying a pre-show nibble or midnight snack can take advantage of the city’s ample eateries, and the venue sits just a skip from Leicester Square, Charing Cross, or Piccadilly Circus stations.

The 99 Club raised a chuckle among TripAdvisor and Qype users, who both rated the club 4/5. The venue also scooped a 2012 Chortle award for best London Club. While some opinions varied on the seating, reviewers was keen to praise the quality and variety of acts they saw.
Our British friend took us to this club, and we had a ball. The three comedians were completely different, super funny, and picked on us a lot for being American... all in good fun. I hope.
