About Dental Implants

The Session
Once deemed suitable after the initial consultation and X-ray, the dental implant begins with the creation of an artificial root to hold the new crown steady. If only a small amount of bone is remaining, a bone augmentation process can be used with the aid of a membrane to guard against infection. Follow up appointments are included to assure gums heal suitably in the most comfortable circumstances possible, and within two to three weeks, a porcelain crown can be fitted on top.
