Heading for the sun-dappled hills with dressage competitions and horse hacking, Trent Park Equestrian Centre has helped riders up on to the saddle for the past 40 years. The British Horse Society-approved training centre teaches students of all levels atop over 150 different whinnying horses, prancing through BHS examinations up to level II. Hosting jumping clinics and corporate days for eager enthusiasts, the centre expands their mission with pony clubs and lessons for youngsters.
After suiting up with riding helmets and boots, students can expect to mount their noble steed beginning with a 60-minute lesson during each two-hour session. Customers will learn how to be hot to trot as they progress through their lessons, which are swiftly followed by a quick mane and trail groom for horsey pampering. Spreading the tips and tricks of trail-blazing, a tutor will then give an equine lecture before finishing up with stable management ideas.
