Dedicated to spreading the racing bug to speed enthusiasts, the academy offers rally experiences and motorised gymkhanas of torque and spin for anyone with enough bottle. Competitors in the Drift Allstars European series, the professional drivers drift and screech and roar through the twists and turns of the Brands Hatch track, putting the likes of a four wheel drive Subaru Impreza and a Nissan Skyline two litre turbo through their paces.
At the Brands Hatch Circuit in Longfield, passengers can strap in and hold on while the professionals unleash the beast. Tearing through the clear country air in a cloud of noise and black burning rubber, the hour-long experience consists of three bouts of two laps. Cockpit video footage of the motorised mayhem can then be purchased for £5, to be shown at later dates in front of adoring fans.
