About Semi-Permanent Make-Up
Aspiring to enhance natural facial features, the application of skin-friendly pigments onto the top surface layer aims to define areas such as eyes, eye brows, and lips. An initial consultation deciphers how natural or dramatic the results should be, as well as discussing preferred colour, shape, and style. Also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, this treatment consists of extremely thin needles subtly piercing the skins surface. Effects will gradually fade over time, depending on factors such as age, skin type, exposure to sun, and general skin care, however, top-ups can rectify this. Treatment times will vary depending on areas.

The session(s)
Lasting around 75 minutes, the session will begin with a consultation to discuss the desired colour and effects of the treatment. One area of the face will be chosen from: the eyebrows, top or bottom eyeliner, or lip liner with blend. Clients wanting to treat additional areas will receive a 50% discount on the original price if purchased on the day of treatment. A top-up session is also included for clients returning within one month of the first appointment.
After Care
Clients may experience some slight swelling or redness on the treated area which generally fades very quickly. The area will also look darker for around three to seven days. During the first week, a salve should be applied in the morning and evening while the area is healing, and saunas and swimming should be avoided.
