This falconry centre is home to over 200 birds, sending forth a broad swoop that includes hawks, vultures, and falcons. The experience days and educational tours on offer allow visitors to come face to face with the yellow-eyed shock of a long eared owl, or the twisting grace of a red kite's forked tail. The centre also has a fully trained brood of hunting birds and a clatter-clapping clay pigeon machine for the entertainment of less airborne huntsmen on the Shuttleworth Estate.

The three hour experience will begin with tea or coffee and a meet and greet session with one of the falconers. Visitors will then handle the hawks and eagles, feeling the taut power of the White Tailed Sea Eagle and the giant Bald Eagle, before leaping into growling 4x4s and transferring to the shooting ground. Having got the hang of the basics, visitors can take aim with 15 shots as the clay discs wing their way across the sky.
