About Fertility Testing
In a series of appointments, fertility testing aims to uncover internal goings-on for future mummies and daddies. Women are usually treated to a gynaecological exam and an ultrasound, as well as blood analysis to test conditions for little ones. Men can expect to give a sample for testing before both parties meet with a fertility expert to discuss results.
The Merchant
Nestled in the London Welbeck Hospital in Marylebone, City Fertility strives to aid visitors in the business of making babies with a range of assisted reproductive technology. The clinic aims to give Mother Nature a little help, with traditional testing services for potential parents, and laboratory services such as IVF to aid couples further down the line towards conception. Expanding their pre-natal mission with an ever-increasing list of services, City Fertility has plans to open a second clinic in the autumn.
The Session
Dotting their Is and crossing their Ts with a face-to-face consultation, the first session will see customers undergo the fertility testing in a 60 minute appointment. Lifestyle factors and medical history will be discussed and tests will be undertaken, with women undergoing a 3D Doppler internal imaging ultrasound and a blood test. Returning to the clinic to tally up results, customers can expect to discuss what treatment or lifestyle changes they can try during a 30 minute conversation with a senior fertility nurse.
