Groupon Recommends
The hotel is within easy reach of much of the sightseeing splendour the city has to offer. The Gothic turrets of the Tyn Church can be marvelled at in the Old Town Square, along with the Astronomical Clock and the 27 tributary crosses marking Prague’s dark past. Across the river from the hotel lies the New Town with the busy boulevard-esque Wenceslas Square leading up to the dome of the National Musuem. The metro station is hidden underneath the square and makes for easy access to further sights including Prague Castle in the sixth district, which also harbours the John Lennon mural wall.

Reviews
The Hotel Royal Palace has garnered a great deal of enthusiastic reviews, and Booking.com users were inspired to rate their stay a regal 8.3/10. While some visitors would have liked larger bathrooms, write-ups are overall very positive. Earning special mention are the hotel’s proximity to central Prague, the personable personnel, and stylish decor.
The rooms were not huge but bed and decor top class and sheets changed every day. Fantastic clean and powerful shower in well-equipped bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful and 24 hr free room service tea and coffee. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Lovely location away from centre but a 15 minute stroll along one of two bridges into the hustle and bustle of tourist Prague. Much better to stay this side as close to castle, trams and metro and shops and bars are better quality and slightly cheaper. Ask for a room on back of hotel. Do not be put off if offered a room near lifts. We never heard them at all as they are modern and silent!

Very nice hotel, with beautiful views of the city from a somewhat high position. The lobby and restaurant are small but cozy. Breakfast very good with typical Czech pastries. Staff very nice, and the location perfect, near the Charles Bridge and all major attractions and restaurants, that remain at walking distance. I would return if I ever came back to Prague!
