Swanky, chic, and spilling over with bubbly, this boutique eatery serves up platters of flavoursome Mediterranean class alongside sparkly Champagne cocktails. The contemporary decor reflects a sophisticated menu, merging exotic flavours and ingredients with classic British favourites, and marrying delicate tastes with ample portions. Comfortably snuggled between Chelsea and South Kensington, the stylish restaurant sits a simple stroll from Gloucester Road underground, and the basement club area offers after-dinner drinks with a boogie or two.

Reviews

Coquine has earned a number of glowing reviews, with View London serving the eatery 4/5 stars. Reviews are on the whole very positive, and the cocktails and slick service earn special mention.

The food menu's rich in both cost and cuisine, with some fundamentally French dishes including foie gras on brioche with egg, steak tartare and… er… french fries. A 'raw bar' section offers oysters, a maki sushi platter and tuna sashimi, which are less French but still a bit pricey.
Time Out, July 2010 2011

Whether you want a bite to eat and a drink upstairs or a crazy party downstairs, Coquine steps up to the plate and delivers. With interesting and inventive cocktails and great staff, it is undoubtedly one of the best venues in this part of London… 4/5 stars
