Bringing the thrilling triumphs of the Land of Bossa
to the chic citizens of the Land of Toad in the Hole, Guanabara is an electrifying fusion of Brazilian dance, music, food and drink. Located in the heart of
London, this hip-and-happening enterprise specialises in all-things funky, flavoursome and fascinating from the realm of Latin America.
Grooving Groupon holders can tune into the pulse of the carnival and bop on down to Guanabara to indulge in a three course meal with caipirinha cocktails and entertainment. With a wide and varied menu on offer, mix and match to the heart's content, beginning with sumptuous starters that include spicy sliced sausage flamed with cachaça and red onions as well as seasoned cassava served with a sweet and sour guava dip. Moving on to the main event, dive head-first into the traditional black bean, sausage, smoked pork and salted beef stew with steamed rice and spring greens or a mixed sea food casserole with butter beans, steamed rice and farofa. Reaching the finishing point, indulge the sweet tooth with a lime mousse spiced with a hint of cachaça or an orange pudding served with a cirtus sauce. With tummy troubles triumphed, wash down the nibbles with a drink each before setting forth into a world of Brazilian beats and musical mayhem.

While the restaurant and club combination of Guanbara may not have been as appreciated by a few reviewers, many more raved about the music, the dancing, the crowd and, especially, the Caipirinhas. Yelp reviewers rate it four out of five stars while Qypers were also positive.
Guanabara is one of the few Brazilian hot spots catering to both the Brazilian community in London and also those who just love Brazilian music. Unlike Favela Chic (another Brazilian hot spot which is really more of a nightclub), Guanabara manages to be a great bar, restaurant, café and dance space.

Great atmosphere, loads of people up for a party. If you want to go to a club where people are unpretentious unlike a lot of places in central London then this is the place.
