Purring down the country lanes and race track of yesteryear, HERO Events cut a path for classic cars in 21st century. Rallying together retro motors such as Porsches, Jaguars, Triumphs, and Austin Minis, the company host whole hosts of events including the HERO Cup, the Throckmorton Challenge, various exhibitions and shows. For those who find it’s the inside that counts, there are also opportunities to test drive definitive cars of days gone by. 
Having selected a favoured triumvirate of vehicles, Groupon holders can get behind the wheel at Throckmorton Airfield, spreading the experience over the three cars. An experienced instructor will be on hand for training and to take people through initial test drives. Appealing to speed lovers, vintage connoisseurs, and members of motorholics anonymous, participants can drive friends, family, and passers-by racing green with envy with tales of historical speeding. This experience is available on Wednesday 12, Thursday 13, Friday 14, and Sunday 16 October, in various hour-long intervals over the course of the day; more participants can be brought along for an extra fee.
