A rustic, russet structure emerging from eight acres of grassland in 1625, Letchworth Hall Hotel offers traditional, quintessential manor house lodgings a short gallivant from Stevenage. Dressed in a broccoli hued robe of vines and moss, the historic structure neighbours an expansive golf course while making close acquaintance with amicable passing deer. Inside, original Jacobean features exude a classically British charm while a recent refurbishment brings synthesis of contemporary facilities with antiquated ambience. The addition of a tastefully appointed restaurant and use of a health centre makes the residence ideal for sleep and sustenance combos, salubrious swims and breaking into grass top song.
Groupon grippers are offered a one night stay with bubbly on arrival, breakfast and afternoon tea for them and an avid amigo at Letchworth Hall Hotel. Burrowing through its orbiting gardens, guests begin with a welcome glass of sparkling wine and go on to enjoy local sights, historic visuals and the chance to count some innumerable sheep. After some suitable Zzz catching, peckish pairs go on to enjoy traditionally British afternoon tea in The Grand Hall whose gothic chandeliers, low hanging wooden beams and plush armchairs are enough to inspire an impromptu sonnet.

The hotel is lovely, it has a nice mix of old charm in the entrance and modern luxury in the bedrooms, dining conservatory. The best bit was the use of the gym facilities attached to the hotel. It is a Nuffield gym so is very well equipped (sic) with pool sauna, steam room etc and a full time table of classes. Really couldnt (sic) find fault with anything.

Set in park like surroundings it was a lovely place to stay. The golf course is close by which was a bonus. We had a room in the old part of the hotel which was very nicely appointed.
