Established by 15 time National Water ski champion Stuart Marston, Liquid Leisure is a centre of water-skimming wonderment, led by a man who has made a splash as a Guinness World Record holder. With 25 years of training, event competing and coaching under his wetsuit, Stuart created a family focussed water skiing and wakeboarding school for all ages and abilities. Home to picturesque settings and its own freshwater lakes, the school is sheltered within private landscaped surrounds where wave jumpers can experiment with water skis, boards, and skates.
Bodies can come alive on the water with a beginners’ course in wakeboarding spanning up to three hours. Starting on land, boarders are taught the fundamentals of safety, body positioning and technique. Once confident in the basics, the water becomes the new terrain, where a static training bar offers a stabilising helping hand. After getting to grips with the trainer bar, water babies can let loose and move onto the long line on a cable, skimming the sea like a super stone. All equipment is provided for from wetsuits to buoyancy aids, ensuring all boarders need to bring is a bucket full of balance.
