Peeping out from a cascade of awards including colourist of the year three times in a row and British hairdresser of the year 2005, eponymous salon owner Lisa Shepherd holds over two decades of styling experience. A swift shimmy from Oxford Street, her London salon also scooped up salon interior of the year 2011, and shows off its chic with an airy space adorned with comfy cushions and cutting edge design, alongside a snack bar, Apple Mac for customer use, and an array of magazines and newspapers. With a range of snippety options for men and women including colouring and tinting in a rainbow of shades, Kérastase and bridal treatments, the salon is open seven days a week, until 8pm Mondays and 9pm Tuesday to Friday.
Greeted with a complimentary glass of wine or beer, customers can talk through their desired mane amendments in a detailed consultation . A half head of strands can then be lit up with highlights or full heads swathed in colour as preferred, before a cut and Kérastase 'Rituals' conditioning treatment, all rounded off with the blow of the hair drier. The taming and swishifying of ladies' tresses will take up to 210 minutes in total, dependent on hair length.

I was only waiting for about 7mins max when the stylist came through to take me through to talk about what I wanted. While my hair was being washed I was sitting in a massage chair and had such a lovely head massage that I nearly dozed off....divine!!
