Like hot chocolate, the marriage of two people is sweet, filled with sprinkles, and leaves a warm feeling on the inside. Brew up a grand day with today’s Groupon: £2,450 for a wedding package for up to 60 people including a drinks reception and a three course wedding breakfast at Lympne Castle Enterprises.

Marrying views of the south coast with a 13th century Grade I listed building, Lympne Castle is a medieval fortress crowned with the luxury of modern hospitality. The Great Hall serves as the centre point to grand occasions, with light aplenty from the arched Gothic windows and added warmth from an enormous open fireplace, while the oak paneled West Wing is an elegant Edwardian viewpoint for the flatlands of Romney Marsh. With the village of Lympne sitting just off of the M20, and an easy motor jaunt from Ashford International railway station, the chateau is easily reached from far flung shores, as well as local Folkstone, and Westenhanger railway station.

As a coastal breeze mingles with historical intrigue and agreeable company, up to 60 guests can match high spirits with raised glasses at a drinks reception to greet the newlyweds. With two glasses each of bubbly, sangria, bucks fizz, or Pimms, guests can get the party started before sitting down to the three course wedding breakfast. The happy couple can select two meal options for each course, and with ample vegetarian morsels and chefs boasting over 20 years’ experience, banquets are adaptable and friendly to various palates. Castle accommodation is available in a range of self-catering cottages, sleeping anywhere between two and seven guests and up for grabs for soon-to-be-brides the night before as well as stopping over revelers. The bride and groom can also kick-start married life with a night in the bridal suite for a £100 surcharge (usually £420).

Thank you so much for all your help on our wedding day. Everything was absolutely perfect and everyone was very impressed with the food, service and castle itself. A perfect day, and we couldn't have done it without you.
