Teeth and existing restorations are examined for stains, chips, cracks, cavities and more, and an oral cancer exam checks all nooks and crannies of the mouth. A bite analysis determines how the upper and lower teeth function in relation to one another, and an examination of jaw joints checks for abnormalities. Two X-rays take a peek at teeth from the inside out and an intraoral camera points out any evidence of problems or disease in the teeth or gums. Findings are explained clearly in a consultation that explains a potential treatment plan, and individuals are left with a sparkle shine and polish to get a dentist-fresh smile.
