With zero emissions these carbon neutral karts hardly make a footprint despite clocking in at 40mph.
After being suitably suited and booted, racers will reach cheek-tickling speeds for three 8 minute sessions as they seek out the chequered flag. Bragging rights will be sure to go to the right driver as accurate lap times are recorded electronically. A short jaunt from Bermondsey tube station the venue has fully equipped changing rooms, with lockers and shower, as well as a selection of food and drink options.
