About The Event
Celebrating the great outdoors, the Robin Hood Game and Country Show parades a host of competitions and displays before its merry patrons. The headline attraction is ‘All About Dogs’, an arena for pooch-fans and their canine chums that boasts dog shows, four-legged contests including a prize for 'scruffiest dog', and an introduction to some intriguing breeds. In the show’s main area, medieval-style jousters impress spectators with horse-back stunts, and animal trainers host ferret racing and an owl agility display. Visitors can explore the medieval village and add another string to their bow at the have-a-go field archery stand.
Other Attractions
Produce such as wine and cheese is available to sample at the festival of food and drink, and shoppers can browse country clothing and crafts at surrounding stalls. Younger visitors are encouraged to try water zorbing and bungee trampolining, while the inflatable fun zone brings castles and bouncing together with predictably enjoyable results.
