Former Masterchef contestant Ann Hood’s culinary school spreads culinary magic from cook shops across the south, and at a prestigious spot in London’s Mayfair. Ann is accompanied by a capable band of professional chefs, who, equipped with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, offer individual kitchen tuition, tailored catering, and regular classes. Lessons cater for a range of ages and abilities, and, adhering to the philosophy that too many cooks spoil the learning experience, are kept small and intimate.
Cooking aficionados will receive a 2.5-hour cookery class including a three-course meal full of the fruits and vegetables of their labour. A range of course options are available, including pasta making, featuring the creation of three authentic Italian dishes, or an Indian theme with the preparation of onion pakoras, fish curry, and apple samosas with saffron and ginger sorbet. Participants will slip on a crisp white school apron on their arrival, enjoy tea and coffee to get them going, and then roll up their sleeves to follow the expert guidance of the chef. The class will be punctuated by refreshments to keep cooks simmering until preparation of their three-course feast reaches completion.

It isn't a huge venue but what it lacks in size, the staff make up for with their warm welcome and first class service. Food was very enjoyable. We had burgers, pasta, ice cream (unusual flavours- turkish delight and peanut brittle- which were nice) and apple crumble - only complaint was it wasn't piping hot. .
