Proudly displaying their trotting expertise since 1989, the horse heroes at Uplands Riding School welcome all from first-time saddle-sitters to experienced dressage pros. Show events, riding lessons, and hacking are all listed in the company’s big book of talents, with birthday parties, large groups, and hen dos also welcomed into their Kite Hill Wood stables.
Taking the reins for a two-hour riding lesson, customers will be guided through the basics while sitting atop one of the school’s equine wonders. Trotting out as a group under the watchful eyes of one of the resident instructors, visitors can take in the local forest sights while picking up the key skills needed to start off a show jumping career. Those more experienced at saddling up can opt to take a two-hour hack instead.
