Dates available: 16 and 23 Jun, 21 Jul, 10 Aug, 5 and 22 Sep, 11 and 27 Oct. Morning session 9.30am-12.30pm, afternoon session 1.30pm-4.30pm. Max 10 people per group. Should bring: warm clothing and fleeces (depending on conditions), plenty of drinking water, footwear suitable for climbing such as trainers or plimsolls, lightweight trousers, and waterproof jacket. Spreading love of the great outdoors across the UK, X Adventure Activities is an Essex-based adventure company that runs land- and water-based sports and excursions from the Peak District to Snowdonia. With activities ranging from abseiling, mountain biking and surfing to the more distinctive water zorbing and trebuchet-making, individuals as well as schools and businesses can sign up for one-off and multi-day experiences.
One or two people can elevate fun levels with a three-hour rock climbing experience, led by an instructor who will teach the basics, including technique and rope work. The experience will take place on the sandstone crags in or around Kent, namely the steep inclines of Harrison’s Rocks or Bowles Rocks. Choose from the following options:
