Anchored on Rock-A-Nore Road, Blue Reef Aquarium Hastings houses a myriad of creatures of the deep in their watery zoo. For a spot of serious splashing, submarine explorers can trek along the underwater walkway tunnelling through the main tank for visits with fishy friends, crustaceans and coloured coral gardens.
Setting a steady course for maritime learning, kids and adults alike can plunge into an education experience, marvelling at the snippets of info on the tank-side boards. The aquarium trail winds round the centre with a sea creature of every corner, while interactive activities help man and fish get up close and personal. It's extremely kid-friendly and there are feeding times and other activities to join in with at particular times each day. The outside area is fun for kids to play in too on sunny days.
