The five hours of tuition can be taken in separate sixty minute bursts or as combined, longer sessions. Either way, once saddled up in the vehicle, drivers will begin to shift gears through the LD programme. Initially focusing on basic control skills, motorists will subsequently move onto road and traffic skills, with manoeuvres on the more advanced checklist. A workbook is provided so lessons can be learnt from home, easing the process behind the wheel.
