A hidden gem in Warrington’s cultural quarter, The Cotton Mill Bar & Kitchen is a brand new gastro pub serving real British food and colourful cocktails. Spreading its culinary credentials across two floors, the establishment silences excited roars of hunger with melt-in-the-mouth steaks, billowing burgers, and freshly-prepared pasta dishes. Social gatherings need not miss out, and can indulge in flavoursome pub fare and a fully-stocked bar with the venue’s private function services.
Sunday lunches or evening dinners could include pub classics such as the roast of the day with all the trimmings (£8.95), or the Cotton Mill beef burger with bacon, sautéed mushrooms, onion rings, melted cheese, tangy salsa, and hand-cut chips (£9.95). Other moreish mains come in the shape of the wild mushroom pasta bake (£8.95) or the sweet chilli chicken pizza (£8.95). Taste buds will be suitably sweetened with a dessert, such as hot chocolate fondant or sticky toffee pudding (up to £3.95), and a large house of house wine (£4.95) will be provided to wash all morsels down with ease.
TripAdvisorsaward the eatery a glowing 4.5/5 stars. While some guests encountered a wait for service, reviewers heap praise upon the standard of cuisine, welcoming atmosphere, and helpful personnel.
