Helping celebrants avoid the need to cut it fine, Angel Cakes supplies brightly-iced concoctions for weddings, birthdays, and all manner of special occasions, while sharing skills through cookery classes. Designer and decorator Virginia Valentine cooks up creatively-shaped, sliceable centrepieces, tiers of sparkling cupcakes, and lollipops featuring patrons’ photographs. Her skills with frosting and toppings are in demand with students, whom she shows how to have their cake and eat it too.

Virginia will teach pupils how to rustle up impressively-decorated cupcakes over the course of around two hours. Each class comprises a 45 minute demonstration and a 45 minute baking session, with a break to sample a previously-prepared cake, and wash it down with tea. Each student will take home a box of four spruced up cupcakes to show off to peckish friends.
