The English language can be difficult to get your head around, but it’s the conjugated vowels and verbal irregulars that really get you tongue-tied. Unravel the lingo with today’s Groupon: £89 for a two-day TEFL course with a certificate with TEFL UK.
With a team of dedicated tutors and experienced travellers at the helm, TEFL UK strives to get fluent chatterboxes coaching learners in all corners of the globe. The course teachers are all experienced in educating abroad, and have a huge knowledge of adaptive techniques, offering booster courses in lesson planning and class ideas. Based at Salford University, the sessions are a quick shuffle on a tram from central Manchester, and aim to get students jet-setting with an extra string to their bow.
The weekend course kicks off at 9am on a Saturday, with the first day covering grammatical awareness, correct use of tenses, tricks to analyse the specific need of a class, and friendly error correction. Watching a video of a lesson, pupils will be invited to discuss the methods employed, before putting together and teaching their own lesson plan on the Saturday and Sunday. The course aims to get teams teaching with confidence, dishing out plenty of examples, a live lesson, and tips on finding employment in the UK and in far-flung lands.
