Strike-out prone ladies and gentlemen can head to the Parrs Wood High School fields for nine weekly softball sessions, to gear up with gloves and bats. Held in conjunction with the 20-year-old Manchester Softball League, the games will aim to advance novice players from dug-out rookie to home run heroes. Faster than an umpire shouting ‘you’re out’, the league will kit players out with the techniques and equipment to start winning.
