An evening of fine dining ensures that wagging tongues and wisdom teeth can catch up in an appropriate manner. Wine and dine with today’s Groupon: £22 for a two course meal for two with a glass of Prosseco each at Beluga.
Housed in a suave Grade-II listed building, the staff at Beluga are celebrating their tenth anniversary of serving up unpretentious, palate-pampering dishes.
The city centre eatery plays host to three floors of fine wine, bubblies and munchables, inspired by designs of an epicurean game developer.
An ambient and intimate setting pervades throughout the lower decking while a bustling, vibrant bar area overlooked by a fancy VIP balcony sits on the ground floor.

Choosing a friend, loved one or affable tandem bike accomplice as their dining buddy, taste bud treaters can sip on a prosecco each as they ponder two courses from the à la carte menu. Starters include the black pudding and pancetta salad (£5.95) served with rocket leaf and a honey mustard dressing, or the spiced chicken skewers (£5.95) presented in a light cajun and cilantro marinade. Mains range from the 8oz sirloin steak cooked to order (£16.95), or for the veggies the grilled vegetable stack including courgettes and peppers layered with goats’ cheese (£9.95).
Reviews
Beluga has received widespread response from customers who have generally enjoyed the whole experience, in particular the setting and atmosphere of the venue. Qypers have given the restaurant a palatable 3/5 stars, while Yelpers have awarded it an encouraging 3.5/5 overall.
The menu looked great so we decided to have starters too which weren't included in our deal and for mains we had steak and lamb and we weren't disappointed, the meal was lovely i couldn't fault it at all, both meats were cooked so well and it was one of the best meals I have had in Manchester.
