Allowing ice-capped competitors the opportunity to conquer Britain’s longest real indoor snow slope, Chill Factore is a haven for those interested in winter sports. The complex has welcomed over three million visitors since launching in 2007, all the while gently prodding struggling skiers towards frosty finesse. Hosting an avalanche of snow-based activities, polar athletes can enjoy sledging, tubing in a rubber ring, or gliding down an exclusive 60 metre long luge ice slide. Extra facilities include restaurants with panoramic views, outdoor leisurewear shops, and a chance for children to meet Jack Frost in the snowplay area. 
Pulling on boots and grabbing ski poles or a snowboard, glacial rookies can select which winter sport appeals to them most. The fully qualified instructors are on hand to aid balance, and can help competitors build a solid foundation of fundamental skills during the 1 hour 50 minute lesson. Guests can gain a comfy feel for their instrument of choice, learning to snowplough, and steer with confidence down the beginner slope.

My daughter has been having lessons on Sundays (it can be busy then!!) and has got quite good at skiing. We've been practicing together. The 3 instructors that she has had so far have all been good and taken an interest in how the children on the course do. They do restrict the numbers on the slope (so book in advance).
