Synopsis
Bringing crash, bang, and wallop into the Belle Vue Stadium, the Bangers Inter Track Championship will see cars past their best days getting a last chance for newfound glory. Over four hours, a league of Mondeos, open rods, and two-litre engines will battle it out on the race track, gaining more than a few cuts and bruises along the way. Thrill-seeking families will receive two race programmes and a drink each, with pints of Carling, bottles of Smirnoff, or large colas ready for accidentally spilling in someone’s lap in excitement.
About Banger Car Racing
A racing sport that pits less than shiny vehicles against each other, banger racing positively encourages contact. The aim of the game is for the car to crash its way to victory on a track that can be tarmac or dirt. Two-litre Bangers go all out in a hardcore fashion, while junior bangers and Startrax Bangers take a slightly gentler approach that’s heavier on the nudge and spin than the all-out smash up.

More commonly used for competing greyhounds, Belle Vue Stadium adds to an illuminated race track with a glass-fronted restaurant, welcoming families, parties, and pairs in to fulfil speedy wishes.
