Reviews
TripAdvisorsaward Abbey House Hotel a favourable 4/5 stars. While some guests found décor old-fashioned, reviewers are keen to celebrate the calming atmosphere, attentive staff, and quality of breakfast and afternoon tea.
The hotel atmosphere is welcoming, professional and calm. The hotel is homely but spacious and well decorated in a blend of traditional design which compliments the location and up to date facilities. Breakfast would be enough for most just eating from the cold buffet however a cooked selection was also available if required! Staff were good. Location refreshingly quiet.

We had a fantastic stay. Afternoon tea was more than enough and lovely, room was spotless, evening meal gorgeous and all staff so nice and went out of their way to help!
