Buffing up actors, musicians, and runway models for over a dozen years, Allure Artistry instils the knowledge needed to transform any face with a range of specialised courses. Cosmetic lessons span the spectrum, from fashion and catwalk make-up and body painting to gory special effects and theatre make-up. Courses also cover hair styling, instructing students on how to shape the perfect hairdo to complement beautified faces.
The experience consists of a basic hair and make-up masterclass, running from 10am to 5pm Saturday or Sunday with 45 minutes to powder noses and grab a quick snack. The course aims to teach the industry’s secret tips and tricks and covers Allure’s 3-Step eye technique for dashing day make-up and sultry night-time eyes. Various celebrity hair styles are taught to help students achieve Hollywood-grade tresses, including professional barrel curls and straightening tips. Alongside all the studious instruction, there will be a question and answer session and the chance to win prizes. Upon completion all students receive a certificate as well as a make-up goody bag to take home.
