Locksmiths looking for a quick snack on a late night call out have found the only way to get into difficult to open bananas is by using a monkey. Unlock more fruitful experiences with today’s Groupon: £30 for a half day zoo keeper experience at
Blackbrook Zoological Park.
Feathered and furry friends have flocked together and ended up in over 30 acres of stunning Staffordshire countryside within Blackbrook Zoological Park, the UK’s largest bird park. This well established animal academy has been bringing locals closer to nature for the last 20 years with a jungle full of exhibits, including antelopes, tortoises and wart hogs getting up to monkey business and a penguin enclosure with underwater viewing cave.
Working alongside one of the park’s keepers, visitors will get inside the enclosures for some close encounters as they get hands on with the animals and help in preparing food, feeding, and cleaning out homesteads. There may even be the opportunity to feed chicks or young animals if there are newborns about. Each helper will receive a certificate and goody bag as well as a free return visit to the zoo, while there is also the option to get a full 12 month membership or adoption scheme with a discount of up to 50%.
While not widely reviewed, several visitors have gone wild for fun days out at Blackbrook Zoological Park.
Great range of birds and some good animals too. The enclosures are arranged so that you can get really close to the exhibits. I would recommend this as a lovely day out for families with pre teens.
