A slice of NYC's secret downtown speakeasy style has arrived in Manchester's Northern quarter in the form of the Blackdog Balroom. If you haven't yet checked out the sleak new Diner and Poolbar, then Groupon has a treat in store for you today. For only £12 get an hour on the pool tables and a meal and drink for two. So you and a friend can loiter by the pool tables looking as cool as Al Pachino in Carlito's Way (obviously without the massive shoot out, that would be a little excessive) and eat like your the Kings of Brooklyn.
The Blackdog Ballroom, offers a wide selection of gourmet burgers andpizzas , draught beers, cocktails a secret room and of courses, pool tables. The stylish new bar is open daily from midday till 4am and serves food all the way through unil 1am. You will be spoilt for choice with the Ballrooms selection of delicous pizzas. From the 'New Yorker'a yummy American style treat with mozzarella, tomato, pastrami, pepperoni, jalapeños and black olives to Italian classic Fiorentina, with tomoato, mozzarella, spinach, olives and a free range egg, there's something for everyone.
