Even with their sights set on eternal glory, the famished Achaeans had to break for some dolmas before besieging Troy. Dine victoriously with today's Groupon: £25 for a 15 dish meze banquet, dessert with live music and dancing for two at Bouzouki By Night.
Catering to the cabaret needs of the North West, Bouzouki By Night provides Greek banquets accompanied by live music and traditional dance. Greek, Cypriot, and eastern Mediterranean cuisine is served on sharing platters, allowing guests a taste of every flavour before they enjoy or join in with a ‘wine dance’ or belly dancing competition. Everyone is invited to get off their pews and jig with the party carrying on until 2am, to the accompaniment of contemporary classics and golden oldies to suit souls inspired by the mythic age of the twentieth century.
Pairs of party goers can expect to have their taste buds treated to an explosion of flavours with 15 meze dishes, trying plates such as fried Haloumi, Chicken kebabs, Spanakopita, and Stifado beef stew plus Baklava for dessert. Once stomachs have fully expanded and spoons have scraped the bottoms of dishes, guests will be invited to join in the singing and dancing with the restaurant’s resident band. Bouzouki by Night’s waiters will show dance-loving diners the steps to Greek dances and the evening will continue with ‘surprises’ for revellers. The party shall then move into the night with a disco hour, during which current chart tunes will be blasted out along with a few of those well-loved golden oldies, for a celebration befitting the Greek gods.
