Bridgewater Heritage Boat Company is a family-run endeavour set up to share the rich heritage of the Bridgewater Canal. Historical sightseeing cruises unearth some of the area's trade and transport history, as well as offering a glimpse of the picturesque surrounds. Now reserved for leisure cruising, the 1906 narrowboat, Castlefield, was originally built to cart all manner of products about the Midlands and North West canal systems.
