Darkstar is the UK’s ultimate laser tag experience allowing players to compete against up to 40 other competitors in an intense, all-out, action packed game of ultimate laser tag using the world’s most advanced equipment. The game is simple: aim to win. With a fantastic location in an abandoned, high-tech military space station, exploring the huge, multi-level “Hex” arena is a huge chunk of the fun.
The unorthodox location offers an ideal backdrop to the adrenaline packed, exciting new sport: ultimate laser tag. What sets ultimate laser tag apart is the fact that it takes the best bits from “regular” laser tag and injects a technological upgrade making the game faster, bigger and more exhilarating. Safety is key here and all guests receive a detailed briefing before being issued with the advanced powered armour and laser rifle pack so you can rest assured that you’ll know what to do and how to do it safely. After being shown the ropes you’re then ready to enter the laser arena.
Once the game begins you’ll have to navigate your way through the dark, complex environment. The aim is to tag other players using your laser rifle before they can tag you. You’ll have to say alert though because there’s more than just the other players lurking in the shadows. Control nodes are strategically located throughout the facility – some provide weapon and armour upgrades and others may be hostile – so you’ll have to keep your wits about you. Scores are updated in real time throughout the game so you know what you have to fight for!
