Each of these home-brewing kits can turn up to 24 litres of fruit juice into sparkling alcoholic concoctions to impress friends at summer parties. Most inventive creations are ready after about 24 hours, and like doughnuts, work best when jammed with sugar. Leaving your juice to ferment with the Drinks-Lab Homebrew Kit for 24 hours will produce an alcohol content of around 4.5% ABV, but leaving for longer will make the drink stronger, up to a maximum of about 14% ABV. The kit includes a re-usable bung and air-lock to seal your juice bottle with and keep in the fizz. Also included are bottle labels for creative beverage naming, a how-to guide, and a list of recommended juices, though experimentation is encouraged with anything from fig to dragon fruit juice.
