Karting 2000's challenging track tests the nerves and reflexes of racers striving to shave another tenth of a second off their lap times. After a safety briefing, challengers can don helmets for either 50 or 80 laps in the 215cc petrol-powered karts, taking on tricky corners and flat-out straights.
From the starting line to the podium, Groupon finds out more about racing at Karting 2000.
What's going on at Karting 2000?
It's an indoor go-karting track where customers aged nine or older can test their racing prowess to the limit. The team welcomes stag and hen parties to the track, as well as kids' birthday celebrations.
What's the track like?
The track is varied in design, combining long straights, hairpin bends and wiggly bits to throw drivers off course. Starting with a left-hand right-angle turn, it provides 340 metres of inventive challenge, complete with a pit lane and spectator seating.
How can winners celebrate?
There's a winners' podium where the top one, two and three can raise imaginary trophies to the potentially real cheers of adoring fans, before heading to the cafe. Champions can also move on to the next challenge, striving to beat the fastest ever lap time of 24.03 seconds.
