A challenging mix of parkland and moorland, the course offers excellent views over the neighbouring Derbyshire Hills and with its selection of natural hazards, poses a test to the most seasoned of skilled putters. Visitors are also welcome to browse the well stocked pro shop and unwind in the spacious clubhouse.
Stepping out onto the 5936 yard course, golfers will have to think hard as they work out how to solve all 18 of the hole based conundrums. Accuracy and clever shot choice will be crucial, particularly at the 15th, where a water hazard, out of bounds, and two bunkers by the green will all be conspiring to devour lost balls. Back at the club house, players can enjoy a soft drink each as they discuss the day’s best shots.
