The ambience of Shalimar will set the scene for two courses of Indian cuisine. Diners can tuck into a starter like the katori kebabs(usually £6.75) and a main like the chicken anarkali, a dish of diced chicken cooked with minced lamb, lightly spiced and wrapped in a Bangladeshi style omelette, served with pilau rice and fresh salad (£12.95).
