Walking on the wild side, Kirkleatham Owl Centre is a rehabilitation centre for injured birds and home to one of the UK’s greatest collection of owls. Meerkats, mongooses and other little furry mammals, plus a number of fascinating reptiles, also find a home at the centre. Aims to educate and entertain abide, with active participation in educational programs, endangered species breeding programs, and a flock of fundraising events offered.
Animal lovers can get up close in a two-hour experience that includes the thrill of flying and handling two birds of prey as well as the feeding and holding of meerkats and mongooses.
